What Was The Delay?

The highly anticipated Nintendo Direct for the Switch and 3DS, has been delayed due to an earthquake that took place in Hokkaido, Japan. As a result, Nintendo announced via twitter that the presentation will commence tomorrow instead.

The program will run for 35 minutes, approximately. North America’s broadcast will start at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET, and Europe’s stream begins at 11 PM BST.

Nintendo Direct will stream via the Nintendo’s official site and Twitch. GameSpot will also be streaming the event. It’s still unclear on what Nintendo will be showcasing, but its sure to be riveting.

They are more than likely going to expand on information about Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which will be out around Christmas. They may also showcase an untitled Yoshi game.

Nintendo is planning on launching an active subscription to play online games, so perhaps they are going to cover that at Direct. We will find out tomorrow.
