NBC announced the schedule for Fall 2020 a new spin-off of the classic crime drama “Law & Order: SVU” that is officially titled “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” The best part about this new show is that NBC will be bringing back some of the original cast members from “Law & Order: SVU” including, Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni) and Olivia Benson (played by Mariska Hargitay).

The Fall schedule is comprised of series that are yet to film new seasons due to halts in production in regards to the coronavirus (COVID-19). NBC has yet to make any decisions for which pilots will pick up for a full season but the new “Law & Order” spinoff has a straight-to-series order for 13 episodes.

The new series will be apart of the Thursday night NBC lineup that will help to stabilize ratings. “Law & Order: Organized Crime” will follow Stabler’s return to the NYPD after his long departure to battle organized crime after suffering a “devastating personal loss.”

The new show will follow Stabler’s journey adapting to the new changes in the NYPD while rebuilding his life and finding personal absolution. Stabler will be leading the new elite task force, taking down New York’s powerful crime syndicates.
