Maroon 5 To Play Super Bowl

The Maroon 5 as scheduled to play the 2019 Superbowl Halftime show, a gig they have been interested in for several years. The band was invited to play, and accepted the invitation. The game will take place on February 3rd, 2019, in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Super Bowl LIII is a long time away, but currently the band is on tour promoting their new album, called “Red Pill Blues.”

Maroon 5 is one of the worlds best-selling bands, having sold 75 million records since their debut album in 2002. Their current album is the band’s sixth, and it was released last year, which saw several top billboard hits.

This next Super Bowl, the 53rd NFL championship game of that name, may feature more bands and guests to play at the halftime show as well, but Maroon 5 are the headliners. The band has been listed as a hopeful Super Bowl entertainment for several years, so lots of people are happy they will finally be playing. Frontman Adam Levine has expressed his interest in the gig publicly in the past on the Howard Stern Show.
