Watch Out Alexa, Here Comes Google Home
Google just announced the new Home Hub APP, which is Google Assistant powered and rivals Amazon’s Echo Show. Echo Show has similar features to that of Echo Show, such as including a visual dashboard for all your smart home devices. While designing the Home View dashboard, the company also updated the Google Home app for Android and IOS.
The Home App recommends what movies to watch on Chromecast, or an option to set up your Home Mini. The App as also been made a lot easier to use. For example, its a lot more feasible to control multiple devices more quickly.
It doesn’t matter where you are located. If you were at a friends or relatives house, it wouldn’t matter. You can have quality tech support from any remote location.
Home Hub is also able to display all of your devices in one view. The app is able to organize the devices by room and had capabilities to use Google assistant from Home Hub Nest thermostat or Hue smart lights. By using this app, you don’t have to manage them the manual way. The app is being updated this week for Android and Home Hub is already on IOS now. Amazon may have some competition now with the new update.
