cowboysremainontopTony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys faced off against their NFC East Rivals, the New York Giants. The Cowboys won, largely due to a relentless final drive. This was only the second time in the last 10 years that the Cowboys beat the Giants. They won 24-21.

The final 4:45 of gameplay was mainly Romo pushing to keep the drive alive and score to tie or win the game. The Giants had just scored to tie the game. Romo, with the help of Dez Bryant and HB Andre Brown, was able to slowly push the ball up the field, and Dan Bailey kicked a field goal for the win. Romo was 6 of 9 passing for 67 yards on that drive, and ended the game with 250 yds, 2 Td, and 1 IN.

So now, the Cowboys are first in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles are in second with the same record as the Cowboys at 6-5. The Giants are now in 3rd with 4-7, and this game all but crushed their hopes for the playoffs this season.
