After losing his place, he recounted a trip to Peppa Pig World.
Earlier in the week, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was giving a speech at the Confederation of British Industry conference in South Shields. The intent of the speech was to address economic problems arising from the Brexit situation and encourage the UK’s various business sectors. However, at one point, Johnson seemed to lose track of his speech, flipping through his notecards.

After a few moments of mumbling, Johnson decided to go on a tangent about his family’s recent trip to Peppa Pig World in Hampshire, a theme park based on the popular children’s cartoon Peppa Pig.
“Yesterday I went — as we all must — to Peppa Pig World. Hands up if you have been to Peppa Pig World,” Johnson said, adding “Not enough” when apparently not many people raised their hands.
“The real lesson for me … was about the power of UK creativity,” he said. “Who would have believed that a pig that looks like a hair dryer … would now be exported to 180 countries with theme parks both in America and China?”

UK's Prime Minister was heard making car sounds, talking endlessly about Peppa Pig at a recent event.

While the tangent drew some confusion from the audience and frustration from the press, Johnson seemed determined to spin it as a relevant part of the speech. “Peppa Pig World is very much my kind of place,” Johnson said.
