American Idol to End After Next Season

Can you believe the news? FOX recently announced that the upcoming 15th season of the juggernaut show, ‘American Idol’, will be the final season.

The show was absolutely groundbreaking when it first premiered back in 2002 and went on to launch the careers of superstars like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

The show has been slipping in ratings during the past few seasons leading to rumors that the series may soon come to an end, and sure enough FOX sent out a tweet early Monday morning to let all their fans know that they will soon be saying goodbye.

People are already speculating on how the show will end, some even hoping that original judges Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul will stop by to pay tribute to a show they were a part of for so long.
