Have you ever wondered how long that line is at the security checkpoint or at the check in desk at an airport before you even got there?
Well, Cincinnati’s regional airport will become the first in the U.S. to monitor travelers’ smartphones and other Wi-Fi devices to identify crowded areas.
This new technology will display wait times for the security checkpoint making it more convenient for passengers to just check in to see if its worth the wait.
Not only is this new technology for the passengers about to wait in the lines, it is also for the security in the airport so that they know when and where to reduce or eliminate problem spots.
