Get ready to cast your vote in November
The 2020 election is approaching and there are a couple of options to consider before casting your ballot and a couple of dates you might want to mark in your calendar. We offer some resources that will help you make your decision on November 3.
CNN has its 2020 Election page but offers a Facts First tool that fact checks everything claimed by candidates that offers better insight into each candidate’s platform. The Facts First page also offers frequent updates in election coverage.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will change certain ballot station protocols to adhere to social distancing guidelines in each state. Vote.org offers a COVID-19 section that also offers links to additional resources for each state with COVID-19 and election updates.
Vote.org will answer every question when it comes to voting in the 2020 elections including a screening test for eligibility and easy registration. They also offer request forms for absentee ballots to vote by mail and an optional election reminder request form that will send reminders for election dates.
Vote.org also offers a polling place locator for all states including additional information on dates, deadlines, and rules. If you haven’t completed the 2020 Census, you can complete it online at Vote.org.
