The Road To Becoming Pro
If you’ve ever played sports at a young age most likely your dream was to become a professional in that sport at some point. Not only did you play the sport, but you probably watched that sport on tv and had professional athletes that you looked up to. And as time went on as you progressed in that sport you had to come to a point where you had to make a decision about what you wanted to do. Are you going to continue to play the sport in college? Are you now just going to play with friends in a league for fun? Are you going to try and play professional after college? Or are you going to give up?
These questions all had to run through your head at some point in time and it is one of the most difficult decisions you may have ever made. Playing sports teaches you so much more then hitting a ball with a bat or running around a track. Sports teaches you life lessons. It teaches you about winning and losing…about going that extra mile when all you want to do is give up. It teaches you about working together to achieve a goal and putting in countless hours of hard work to be at the top.
Becoming a professional athlete has its own set of challenges, but every professional looks back and has started by playing in their hometown on a small level with someones parent as their coach. They have worked hard and made it to the top not just by luck, but by hard work and dedication.
