Grocery Store Flu Fighters

Next time you’re at the store be sure to stock up on colorful fruits and veggies like vitamin-c packed citrus and beta-carotene rich carrots! Also, put back the sugary snacks, they not only have unwanted calories, but they also diminish the immune system making it even harder to fend off the flu!

Be on the lookout for foods filled with immune boosting zinc and selenium, which are found in red meat, shellfish, poultry, and fortified cereals. You can also fight the flu by getting in on the probiotics with a little yogurt, and spicing things up will some garlic as well.
