New Movies Slated ‘Scoob’ Offers Star-Studded Cast

Warner Bros. Animation just revealed that they’re working on a reboot of the classic mystery-solving teens, “Scooby Doo.” The new reboot is still in the talks but they just revealed two big stars that are committing to the project, Zac Efron (to play Fred) and Amanda Seyfried (to play the role of Daphne).

The new film is called “Scoob” and many more big-name stars are set as the cast for this reboot. Will Forte will be doing the voice over for Shaggy and Tracy Morgan will be voicing the character Captain Caveman.

Gina Rodriguez from “Jane The Virgin” will be taking on the role of Velma. The original voice actor for Scooby-Doo, Frank Welker, will be making a return for “Scoob.”

The film is set to release in May 2020, but everyone is buzzing on the return of this classic cartoon crew. The last movie of the franchise was the live-action movie “Scooby-Doo 2: Monster Unleashed” and this new animated movie is sure to bring back some nostalgia.

“Scoob” will be directed by Tony Cervone, which has a great relationship with the cast already and is sure to bring this classic cartoon into the 21st century. The original animated series “Scooby-Doo: Where Are You?” debuted back in 1969 by the creators Hanna-Barbera and the gang is set to get back together in this new film to save the world from the evil villain Dick Dastardly.
