Girl Goes Viral After Being Not Too Impressed By The First Lady
It’s very rare that Melania Trump isn’t the center of attention in photographs, even when she is next to her President husband. But, the First Lady was upstaged in a picture that went viral at the weekend thanks to one girl’s bored reaction.
Melania welcomed 30 students from Digital Pioneers Academy in Washington to the White House over the weekend, as part of her ‘Be Best’ anti-bullying campaign.
The lucky pupils were able to experience the White House’s own cinema room and were treated to popcorn and goodie bags. The group watched the 2017 film Wonder, which tells the story of August Pullman, a boy with facial deformities who goes to a mainstream school for the first time.
Melania treated the students to a White House screening as part of National Bullying Prevention Month and after the event, the First Lady tweeted sharing her delight about the students coming to visit.
She tweeted: “Thank you to the students and teachers from @DPApcs who joined me and @BetsyDeVosED to watch the movie #Wonder in the @WhiteHouse theater today” She also posted four images along with the tweet, showing the students picking up popcorn or sitting in the theater watching the movie. But one photo has caught the eye, with Melania talking to the group, a young girl is seen arms crossed looking as if she is rather bored with what is happening.
The young girl has been hailed as a hero on social media for her sassy stance. One user said: “My hero. The little girl looks less than impressed at meeting Melania Trump.”
Another user said: “This little girl with her arms folded is all of our spirit animals.”
