With the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the rise, Microsoft has two more backward compatible games for Xbox One. Both 360 titles Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and Call of Juarez: The Cartel, is now playable on the Xbox One. These two titles were developed by Techland, which primarily develops Western theme games. This event is mainly targeted at gamers that are anticipating Red Dead Redemption 2, that drops next month.

2009’s Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a prequel to the original Call of Juarez. This game takes playing during the end of the American Civil War, which is twenty years prior to the events of the first game. McCall brothers; Ray and Thomas, go on a quest to try to save their family home. The game is a first-person shooter and you can alternate between playing with the two brothers, simultaneously.

2011’s Call of Juarez: The Cartel is set in a modern time period. You can play as one of three agents that have the main task of taking down a drug operation. Unlike Bound in Blood, the cartel does have a co-op mode, so you can play with a friend if you so choose to.

If you already retain ownership of both games, just insert them in your Xbox One. They will download prior to you inserting them into your console. In addition, if you owned either title digitally, then its more than likely in the ‘Ready to Download’ section of Xbox One’s My Games and Apps menu.
