NCAA Selection Show

If you are not interested in anything but the info you need to fill out your NCAA basketball tournament bracket, here’s what you need to know: The NCAA Selection Show is on TNT at 6 p.m. ET Sunday (and don’t forget the time change this weekend). Who’s in, who’s out, who’s going where, all will be revealed in good time.

Some key tournament finals you may want to watch would certainly include the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big 12. Teams are yet to be determined as this is being typed, but the ACC highlight may well be Friday night when Duke and North Carolina meet in the semifinal for the second straight year. They split their season series. Game time is set for 9 p.m. but will likely be a bit later, viewable on ESPN. The ACC final is Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.

The Big 12? You get Kansas-Kansas State on Friday night (7 p.m. ESPN/ESPN2) and Texas Tech-West Virginia following. The final is Saturday at 6 p.m., also on ESPN. If Kansas is going to secure a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, it must win this tournament.

Need a break from hoops? It’s No. 1 Albany at No. 2 Maryland in men’s college lacrosse on Saturday at noon on the Big Ten Network. Maryland is the defending national champion.

NASCAR takes its act to ISM Raceway in Phoenix for the TicketGuardian 500 on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on Fox. Kevin Harvick is shooting for a third consecutive victory.

That should keep your heiner in the recliner. Get those pencils sharpened and change the ink cartridge in the printer so that your bracket is pristine (because it won’t stay that way long). March Madness continues!
