The Latest Animation Movie From Pixar

The first teaser trailer for Toy Story 4 has just dropped and we’re pretty excited about the whole thing. The film will be released in Summer 2019 and will be the fourth installment, with the series now running over two decades – the first film was released back in 1995.

The teaser doesn’t give us a glimpse of the actual film but we did get to see the most iconic characters in slow motion. We watched eagerly as Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Mr and Mrs Potato Head, Rex, Hamm, Space Alien and Slinky Dog flew through the air hand in hand.

But where did the plastic fork come from?! With pipe cleaner arms and a drawn on face it shouts: “I don’t belong here! I am not a toy”. Tim Allen, the voice of Buzz Lightyear has warned fans that the fourth and final movie will be a real tearjerker. Well, I guess we’re used to that – who didn’t cry during Toy Story 3?

Speaking to the media, Allen said: “It is so emotional, it’s so funny, it’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled. I couldn’t even get through the last scene.” When pressed for further details, Allen said: “I just can’t do it. I can’t give any more away. They’ve got great characters but a couple of scenes toward the end were really hard to get through.”

Tom Hanks, the voice of Woody couldn’t agree more. He said: “It’s emotional and funny and exciting and different and took it to a whole new level. It walks the line between comfort – you know what’s going on – and discomfort – wondering what’s going to happen. It’s terrifically emotional.”

I am suddenly very excited for the Summer of 2019.
