Starbucks Customers Are Not Amused
Well Starbucks lovers, Starbucks says its updated rewards program reflects what customers asked for. And based on social media backlash, we’re not so sure.
Many people received an e-mail yesterday stating that, “In April, we’re launching a new Starbucks Rewards program to reflect the #1 request we heard from members: more Stars awarded based on what you buy, no matter how often you visit.” However, the 2 Stars you earn for every $1 you spend on coffee, food, drinks, mugs is great and all, but what the customers didn’t want is for the amount of stars you need to get your next reward to drastically increase.
So, while Starbucks is making it seem like everything is just dandy and that they’re making their customers happy, social media is saying otherwise. For more details be sure to check out the video above.
