You Win Some And You Lose Some

This past weekend was supposed to be a huge break in history for NASA as they launched their new rocket called SpaceX Falcon 9. The rocket was bound for the International Space Station when it exploded only two minutes after liftoff from Florida which was a “blow” to NASA, a top official at the space agency said on Sunday (June 28).

“We lost a lot of research equipment on this flight,” NASA Associate Administrator Bill Gerstenmaier told a news conference. “It’s a pretty important loss to us,” he said. It was the third cargo mission to the space station to be lost in recent months.

NASA officials said it was not clear what caused the explosion but they are hoping to review into further details.
