Amazon Parrot Fit For American Idol

Some might say the Dallas Zoo is for the birds and that’s exactly true five days a week at soar. During the Festival Of Flight presented by Kimberly-Clark where birds swoop, compete, perform tricks, and even sing!

One eighteen-year-old Double Yellow-headed Amazon parrot has been the star of the show for the last couple of years and has been wowing visitors.

This bird has been all over TV and road shows across the nation and she’s now entertaining zoo visitors with her music.

Her favorite song to sing is actually Old McDonald Had a Farm and loves to perform this one for everyone. If her singing abilities don’t impress you then her impressions will.

Her impressions range from Yoda from Star Wars to a purring kitten. The bird wasn’t always so pitch perfect but with a little help she has made it to the big screen. If you have a chance go check her out for yourself at the Dallas Zoo.
