During the D-day commemorations in France, President Obama and President Putin of Russia exchanged words at a world leaders lunch hosted by French President Francois Hollande.
The two tend to keep a “businesslike” relationship so an informal conversation was expected. The quick fifteen-minute conversation was about the Ukraine crisis and many believed that Obama was just trying to speak for the need to end the violence as quickly as possible.
Many also believe President Obama may have persuaded Putain to move in a new directions in his efforts with the Ukraine but one will only find out in time. Actions do speak louder than words!
