Highest Paid Musicians Of 2018

Music is a part of everyone’s life. Whether it’s mainstream, indie, techno, pop… you name, it’s out there, and it makes someone happy. But these five musicians are probably the most happy, as they are the top five paid musicians of 2018. Let’s see if they’re deserving or not.

5. Ed Sheeran
Making $31.3 million in total, the red-headed heart-throb has to be doing something right. His song “Shape of You” won Best Pop Solo Performance over the likes of Lady Gaga, P!nk, Kesha, and Kelly Clarkson.

4. Bruno Mars
Scratching just over $40 million, Mr. Mars has been creating catchy tunes with a throwback groove for a while now, with songs like “That’s What I Like” and “Uptown Funk” getting stuck in all of our heads for months.

3. Metallica
This broad-genre band has been with us for a wild ride, and their ever-evolving sound proves they’re just as relevant as ever with their 2018 total being $43.2 million.

2. Garth Brooks
Crossing the $50 million mark, Mr. Brooks is a country staple and legend whose tours alone brought in $46.7 million. People are 100 percent lining up to see this staple performer.

1. U2
With $54.4 million under their built, U2 makes me wish the band included Me2, because I need that money in my life. Once again, touring was their biggest seller since there wasn’t music produced by them, so $52 million of that was just shows and performance.

And those are Billboard’s highest paid musicians of 2018. Do they deserve the top spot?
