Death Linked To Health Complication

Tragedy struck the set of the Tom Hanks Mr. Rogers biopic Won’t You Be My Neighbor? when member of the crew died in an unfortunate accident.

James Emswiller, age 61, was having a cigarette break on the roof of the building in Mt. Lebanon where filming was taking place. Due to an unconfirmed health complication, currently assumed to be a heart attack, Emswiller collapsed over the age of the roof and fell two stories. No one else was present on the roof when the health complication occurred, but when Emswiller’s coworkers came looking for him and didn’t find him there, he was spotted on the ground, at which point the police were called.

Emswiller was taken to a local hospital, where his time of death was confirmed at 10:36 PM. Production company Big Beach Films has not commented on the accident as of writing. Emswiller was the recipient of the 2015 Emmy for outstanding sound mixing for his work on HBO’s ‘Bessie.’
