3 Degrees of Meryl Streep

It is no surprise that Meryl Streep is once again nominated for an Academy Award this year. The woman could star in a cereal commercial and get Oscar recognition – she is a genius!

While it is Katharine Hepburn who holds the record for most Oscars won, Meryl Streep is making history by being the most nominated of all time with her 19th nomination this year.

She last took home the statue in 2011 for her portrayal of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, but she was nominated just last year for her performance in ‘August Osage County’. Will Meryl take home another Oscar this year?

We will find out soon enough. But one thing is for sure, whether she wins or not I doubt this is the last time the Academy Awards welcomes Meryl Streep.
