‘Suits’ Co-Star Arrives In London To Support Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle’s TV dad, Wendell Pierce, is in London for work on the eve of the royal birth. Pierce and Markle played the role of father and daughter on the TV show “Suits.” Pierce tweeted his blessings to Markle and her husband, Prince Harry.

“It’s great to be living & working in London while the excitement builds around the Duchess of Sussex soon giving birth to her first child. Meghan I’m very happy for you. Blessings,” the TV actor wrote.

Markle and Prince Harry plan to keep the birth of their baby private, unlike in-laws Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kensington Palace released an official statement saying the birth of the newest member of the royal family, nicknamed “Baby Sussex,” would be a private affair.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” the statement said. “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

The royal baby is expected to arrive at the end of April or beginning of May.
