You Think You Hate Spiders?

Nobody is the biggest fan of spiders, but one man in Fresno, California went to extreme lengths to get rid of the spiders that were in the house. In fact, he accidentally burnt the house down.

The unnamed man was looking after his parents house when he saw a few dangerous spiders in the house. Firefighters that were first on the scene said the man was attempting to kill three black widow spiders that have settled in the house with a blowtorch.

29 firefighters were called out to deal with flames that had erupted at the property. Fortunately, the man was able to escape the house before the flames became too serious, the same however cannot be said for the spiders.

If you are reading and think this sounds like the same response as you would proceed with, you wouldn’t be alone. There was another man last year that decided a home made blowtorch was also the answer to get rid of the spiders in his house.

The man from Seattle used a can of spray paint and a lighter to tackle the spider that he had found in his room, this quickly got out of hand and ended up costing over $60,000 worth of damages.

There was a third man that also approached a spider in this way. An Arizona man found a nest of spiderwebs under his house and once again, grabbed the blowtorch to respond. This time the fire got out of hand and there was a rescue mission required to save an elderly man from the house next door. Luckily both men in Arizona walked away from the blaze with only minor injuries.
