Chiefs seem to be the top pick for Super Bowl LIV

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Tennessee Titans in the playoffs, securing their spot at the Super Bowl. This is the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl in fifty years–the longest stretch any team has gone between championship games.

After overcoming the odds, the Chiefs are favored to win the Super Bowl by 1.5 points, according to the sports betting site BetMGM.com.

The Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl game on Sunday, February 2nd. It’s the 49er’s seventh appearance at the NFL championship game.

The Chiefs’ defensive end, Frank Clark, gave an exuberant post-game interview after Sunday’s victory over the Titans, trash-talking the Titans’ Derrick Henry.

“The Titans come in here, they say they’re gonna run the ball. I know exactly what they were gonna do, you watching that film, you know what they’re going to do. The last two games, (Henry) had 200 yards each game, I knew damn well we weren’t gonna win the game if we let that happen. They come in here, call him the best rusher in the league. We sending his (expletive) home early,” Clark said.

According to USA Today, “the Chiefs dispatched the Tennessee Titans 35-24 while limiting Derrick Henry to 69 yards.”
