Third Jumanji Movie Set To Release December 2019

When it was first announced that there was going to be a comedic reboot of the Jumanji series where the characters would be sucked into a video game, many movie-goers were skeptical of its success. But with a headlining cast of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas, the movie blasted as a box-office success and became one of “The Rock’s” highest grossing films, pulling in over $400 million in domestic box office earnings.

Now, the success has led the same cast, writers, and director to return for round 2 of the reboot. While it will be considered the third Jumanji movie in the series, it will be a direct sequel of the 2017 movie’s release.

While we have very few details on the sequel, we do know that it will hit theaters in December 2019, and will hopefully be just as enjoyable as its predecessors. The legacy of Robin Williams is carried on through these modern re-imagination of this classic franchise. We’ve come a long way, from board games to motorcycle gangs, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store next for Jumanji.
