The Search For Jennifer Dulos Continues

The search for Jennifer Dulos, a missing mother of five in Connecticut, stretched into the fourth week. Dulos was last seen on May 24 when she dropped her children off at school but has not been seen or heard from since.

Dulos’ ex-husband, Fotis Dulos, and his girlfriend are the primary suspects in Jennifer Dulos’ disappearance. However, Fotis Dulos’ attorney, Norm Pattis, has a novel theory (literally) about what happened to Jennifer Dulos. Pattis suggested that Jennifer faked her disappearance in order to implicate her husband, like the woman in the 2012 novel “Gone Girl.”

“This is a person who has a pretty florid imagination and motives to use it to hurt Mr. Dulos,” Pattis told the New York Post. He claimed Jennifer Dulos had written a 500-page novel in the early 2000s with a similar plot.

However, Pattis’ creative theory runs counter to the evidence discovered in the case. A search of Jennifer Dulos’ home found blood in various locations around the house, as well as signs of an attempted cleanup. Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend, Michelle Traconis, were captured on surveillance footage dropping off garbage at 30 different locations around Hartford, Connecticut. The garbage included clothing stained with Dulos’ blood.

A lawyer for Jennifer Dulos’ family called Pattis’ “Gone Girl” theory “a classic act of desperation to slander the victim.”
