The Couple Welcomes Baby Number 3

There’s a new addition to the Kardashian-West clan, and it’s a baby girl. Kim and Kanye welcomed the new nugget Monday night, and she’s a healthy 7 lbs and 6 oz. Kim made the announcement to her fans via her website, saying: “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”

The reality TV star and her hubby announced that they had hired a surrogate in June, and later announced in September that the surrogate was in fact pregnant. We were all alerted that the newest addition would be a girl after Kim let it slip while on Ellen. She dealt with placenta accreta in both of her previous pregnancies, and decided in order to have a third child, surrogacy was her best option. Though in November, Kim told Entertainment Tonight that surrogacy was more difficult for her than actual pregnancy because she didn’t feel she had any control.

Kim also noted on her website post that North and Saint were especially thrilled to welcome their new sibling to the family. Now, we are just waiting on the other two sisters, Khloe and Kylie, to to welcome their babies (queue the drama)!
