Tech Alert
Here is a question for you, considering almost all of us connect to public wi-fi on the daily. Is using public Wifi a security risk?
Well, let’s just say that using a public source of wireless internet can compromise your security under certain circumstances. The fact that the network is open does mean that someone with the right skills could potentially end up compromising your security by snooping or posting malicious content on other machines that are attached to the same hub. Having a public network with password is a bit safer but far from being bullet proof.
So, with that being said, before you connect you are going to want to make sure that the network is secure. For tips on how you can stay protected be sure to check out the video above.
