Is “Austin Powers 4” On The Horizon?

Yeah baby! Mike Myers has recently came out and said that “Austin Powers 4” is ‘looking good’, and that we might not be waiting much longer to see the newest dose of the international man of mystery.

While at a recent red carpet event, Myers was asked about a new Austin Powers adventure and whether it was in the works. He said: “You are going to see Dr Evil soon, somewhere in the culture. The (fourth Austin Powers) movie… it is looking good. They take a long time to write, they always have.”

The last Powers movie was back in 2002 when the star took to the screen to portray the spy for a third time in “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”

Not only did Myers all but confirm the new film, but he also pretty much announced that the film would have the same director as the first three, Jay Roach. He said: “They take a long time to right, Jay has been crazy, he is doing a fantastic movie right now.”

The star will be forgiven for how long the film has been absent for, lets not forget he takes on several of the main roles in the film, along with actually writing the flick.

Myers first introduced us to Powers back in 1997, parodying some of the most famous Bond films in the marking- in the films it would always see Powers take on his nemesis from the 60’s Dr Evil- also played by Myers.
