“Incredibles 2” Is Doing Great

After waiting over ten years, Incredibles fans were ecstatic to know that there was going to be a sequel to their childhood movie. “Incredibles 2” hit theaters in June and had a successful few weeks at the box office. In fact, the sequel to our favorite animated superhero movie has just made history. It’s the first animated movie to make $600 million at the box office, previously being Finding Dory with 483 million.

Globally, “Incredibles 2” made a whopping $1.27 billion, is the fifth highest-grossing Disney film ever, and the second highest-earning animated film in the global box office. Disney’s Frozen still currently has the number one spot with $1.27 billion. Not surprisingly, “Incredibles 2” is still playing in theaters. Maybe if we super-fans watch it a bunch of times, we can get it to be the highest-earning animated film in the global box office!

I do enjoy that Pixar is making these sequels to popular movies: “Monsters Inc.”, “Finding Nemo”, and now the “Incredibles.” I can’t wait to see what other films will be getting a second part to it.
