A Plan On The Rise

The Greek government submitted legislation to parliament on Tuesday required by its international lenders to start talks on a multi-billion euro rescue package. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has faced a revolt in the ruling Syriza party over the mix of tax hikes and spending cuts demanded by lenders.

But he is expected to get the package through parliament with the support of pro-European opposition parties. The bailout could offer Greece up to ninety-three billion dollars in loans to boost their finances. Wow, that’s a lot but they are taking all measures in order to avoid being forced out of the euro.

The first set of reforms did trigger a rebellion in the prime ministers party last week and only passed thanks to pro EU opposition parties. For more details and what is to be expected in the near future be sure to check out the video above.
