‘The Last Dance’
Though the debate of Lebron vs. Jordan rages on, there’s not doubt that Michael Jordan was the most clutch player of his time. Not only did he change the way we view the Chicago Bulls franchise, he changed the face of basketball forever. Every kid growing up wanted to be ‘like Mike.’ That’s why this is truly the documentary we’ve all been waiting for. Netflix is known for its compelling and extremely well-liked documentaries, and ESPN is known for its own groundbreaking documentary series, 30 for 30. The pairing of ESPN and Netflix for Michael Jordan’s multi-part documentary series is nothing short of highly anticipated.
‘The Last Dance’ is set to release as a 10-part series in 2019, and will chronicle the 1990’s dynasty, led by Jordan, that was the Chicago Bulls. The press release indicates that the series will be jam-packed with mroe than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the Bulls’ 97-98 Championship run. Of course, many other well-known faces from the Bulls’ franchise will make appearances during the series, as well as other people around the world of basketball.
