One wedding no one will ever forget
Danny DeVito and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson crashed a wedding in Mexico this weekend. The pair was in Cabo San Lucas, working on their film Jumanji: The Next Level, when they decided to surprise guests at a wedding taking place nearby.
The Rock posted about his escapades with DeVito on Instagram. He gave his best wishes to the newly married couple, whom he called “beautiful.”
“We were sippin’ on a lil’ Teremana tequila, enjoyin’ the quiet sunset together in Mexico after a long week of Jumanji work when this idea hit,” Johnson wrote. “Crash the wedding. Grab a mic. Sing a special song. Say adios. It was actually quite beautiful and the love and mana in that room surrounding the wedding couple was so strong. Congratulations to the lovely bride, Kristine and handsome groom, Will. And their four children, Ryan, Mason, Edie & Max. Beautiful family. The Abbots aka Brady Bunch.”
The bride and groom, as well as their guests, were thrilled to have two mega-stars crash the reception. DeVito and Johnson were in Mexico filming the sequel to 2017’s Welcome to the Jungle, which was based loosely on the 1995 film Jumanji, starring Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst. The latest Jumanji film, due in theaters next year, also stars Jack Black and Kevin Hart alongside DeVito and Johnson.
