There Might Be Some Spoilers

Luke P got the First Impression rose on “The Bachelorette,” but he’s provided a steady stream of drama ever since–leaving his co-contestants with anything but a good impression. Dustin Kendrick, who was eliminated from the show this week along with Dylan Barbour.

Monday’s episode opened with the bachelorette, Hannah Brown, going bungee jumping in the nude with Garrett, another contestant. It’s supposedly a Latvian tradition for couples, and Hannah and Garrett both raved about the experience. But Luke P was far from thrilled, confronting Hannah about how “her body is a temple” and scolding her for going through with the naked bungee-jumping stunt.

Luke’s paternalistic attitude turned off many contestants, including Dustin Kendrick. After his exit from the show, Kendrick told People TV Luke’s behavior was “ridiculous” and “controlling.” As for Luke P’s analogies about “staying in his own lane,” Kendrick said it was “all comedy” to him.

Even the bachelorette herself seemed fed up with Luke’s attitude, telling him pointedly before the rose ceremony, “you are not my husband.” But in the end, she opted to keep him. She gave Luke P a rose and sent Dustin and Dylan home.

Dustin told People TV that he’s rooting for fellow contestant Mike Johnson to win Hannah’s heart at the end.
