Magic Johnson tweeted that the comments were “A black eye for the NBA. I feel sorry for my friends Coach Doc Rivers and Chris Paul that they have to work for a man that feels that way about African Americans, and I will never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner.”
The Miami Heat let the players in the Los Angeles Clippers organization know that they’re not alone.
In an act of solidarity, the defending NBA champions reproduced the Clippers’ silent protest against team owner Donald Sterling.
