If Donald Stays Doc Walks
The big news that has been trending in basketball today is the awakening story of the Los Angeles Clippers and their owner. Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers has stated that he doesn’t want to return next season if disgraced owner Donald Sterling is still the owner.
The CEO Dick Parson also stated that Doc has said to him three times already that he will not return if this situation remains the same.
The main issue is if Shelly Sterling acted properly when selling the franchise without her husband’s consent to Microsoft CEO for two billion dollars. If that’s not enough to shock anyone than I don’t know what will.
Players are upset about this situation and they have been telling reporters that if Doc were to leave it would be a disaster.
The players look up to Doc not only on the court but off the court as well as he is a father figure to the team and that’s something that is irreplaceable. The next too leave the NBA fears is the ticket holders, fans, and even players.
