Making Your Morning Cup Of Joe Even Better

If you’re anything like more than half of Americans, you may have a cup of coffee every morning to start your day. The Harvard School of Public Health actually reported that Americans drink an average of 3.1 cups of coffee each day. We should be reminded that it IS indeed possible to have too much of a good thing, but if you want a really, really, extra good cup of coffee, or even a new way to consume some caffeine, check out these creative ways to fix your fix.

For hot days, I’d say an iced coffee is the way to go. If you pour your leftover brew into an ice cube tray, you can later use them to stir together a strong, impossible-to-water-down iced coffee.

For Instagram-worthy latte shots, you can easily create designs on top of your coffee with a piece of paper and some scissors. Turn your cup of choice upside down and trace it on the paper, then center and draw your design – even something simple looks cool. Cut it out and place your stencil on top of your cup. Lightly shake some fine coffee grounds, cinnamon, or cocoa powder on top, and voila.

If you’re all about the foam on top, you can microwave a bit of milk in a mason jar and shake it up for perfect, scoopable foam. Enjoy!
