Hemsworth And Evans Fool Around In Interviews Together

Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans love to laugh about their “bromance.” But the stars reveal they were forbidden from promoting “Marvel” movies together, because they act like “two kids in school,” as Hemsworth describes it.

“With Chris Evans, I have a real brotherly bond,” Hemsworth said. “I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around and none of it is on topic.”

Evans confirmed that the duo was indeed separated for interviews, for the reasons Hemsworth cited.

“We had too much fun together, and truly like kids in school, we were separated because we weren’t getting s— done,” Evans said.

He added that he would love to team up with Hemsworth for a comedy movie. “I would love to do one of those ’80s buddy comedies, where we could shed the characters we are known for,” Evans said.

When it comes to mentorship, Hemsworth said he looked to older “Avengers” co-star Robert Downey Jr. for guidance. Although Chris Evans was his best buddy on the set, he said he values the friendship of co-stars Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner as well.

“There’s a mentoring element with Downey. There’s an incredible friendship with Scarlett and Renner and Ruffalo,” Hemsworth said.
