Some celebs are not happy about the Forbes List

Forbes just released their list of the highest-paid hip-hop artists, and the list includes just two women: rivals Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. Cardi, apparently unhappy with the revelation that Nicki Minaj makes more than her, threw shade at the magazine via Twitter.

“Where do Forbes be getting they numbers from cause they way off ?” Cardi tweeted with a skeptical emoji.

But Forbes took the shade in stride, saying people should really focus on the pay gap between men and women in hip-hop, instead of the pay gap between two rival female rappers.

“Cardi B is the youngest artist in this year’s ranking of hip-hop’s highest-paid acts—and joins Nicki Minaj as 1 of only 2 women on the list—the latest example of a pay gap that has long plagued the industry,” Forbes tweeted.

Kanye West topped the list as the world’s highest-paid hip-hop artist. Kanye, who is married to Kim Kardashian West, raked in $150 million last year. He earned almost twice as much as the runner-up, Jay-Z, who grossed $80 million last year.

Rounding out the top ten were Drake, Diddy, Travis Scott, Eminem, DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, and Childish Gambino. Nicki Minaj came in twelfth place, one slot before Cardi B, who ranked 13th.
