Conor Mcgregor Thanks Boston Fire Department

Every hero needs a break, and fire departments are no different. They keep us safe from the most dangerous of threats and have bravery that is unmatched by most normal human beings. UFC superstar Conor McGregor was on hand in Boston to reward the fire fighters with tokens of gratitude.

McGregor was on hand for gifts for everyone in the department, handing over a load of bottles of his Proper No. Twelve whiskey, as well as giving the fire brigade ten tickets to the upcoming World Series. The baseball side that you would have to imagine that the majority of them support will be over the moon after reaching their first World Series since 2013.

The UFC star himself was there at Back Bay Fire Station in the flesh to show his admiration for their work, while here he also posed for pictures and looked to have a good time getting to know the staff.

Furthermore, showing that the Irishman isn’t as bad as people make out, he announced that $5 from every bottle of whiskey that is sold will be given to first-responders. This must already be generating a fair bit of money for emergency services with Proper No. Twelve smashing sales records worldwide, with a local supermarket in Ireland actually putting a cap on how many bottles one person can buy at a time.
