Apple Expanding TV Brand

Apple has prospects to expand the Apple TV brand. Lately, the US branch has been negotiating with UK telecom provider BT, as well as EE, its mobile brand, to permit consumers the choice to buy Apple TV that just so happens to be pre-loaded BT’s pay-TV channel apps.

Apple feels EE is a good company to invest in because it has a younger demographic. Apple believes the partnership works in BT favor as well. The US company will gain more customers with the merger and BT will be able to appeal to a younger demographic.

There as also been rumors that Apple wants to launch its own streaming service. They have been wanting to do this for a long time and it makes sense. Netflix, Hulu, and Crackle are just a few streaming services that make a huge profit.

Apple has ordered multiple shows, unfortunately, they have nowhere to air them. They ordered a pair of children’s shows from “Sesame Street,” a reboot of the science fiction anthology show “Amazing Stories,” a Hunger Games-style dystopia show coined “See,” and a show from ‘La La Land’ director, Damien Chazelle, along with a multiyear agreement with Oprah Winfrey.

Apple doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
