Less than three months after giving birth to her son, Gene, 38-year-old comedian Amy Schumer showed off her post-baby body in an Instagram photo.

“We’re good,” Schumer captioned a photo of herself with her son and husband on the beach. In the picture, Schumer is wearing a sleek black one-piece.

Many Instagram users praised Schumer for being willing to show off her curves. “Healthy, happy …this is how real women look body,” a user named maryearlforever wrote. Another fan wrote, “So beautiful [sic] a normal womans [sic] body you look great!!”

“I am loving my warm soft post-baby body. Grateful to be feeling so strong again!” Schumer wrote back.

Of course, Schumer has also attracted her share of online trolls who criticize her parenting decisions, including her choice to return to stand-up comedy this month. In response, Schumer posted a picture of herself hooked up to a breast pump while preparing for a comedy show.

“Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night!” Schumer wrote.

Baby Gene is Schumer’s first child with husband Chris Fischer. He was born just hours after “the Royal Baby,” Archie, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Schumer announced Gene’s arrival with a picture that was jokingly captioned, “Our royal baby.”
