Money Talk
Money is the real reason that many Americans are losing sleep. CreditCards.com reports 65% of Americans are awake at night. Healthcare and insurance costs are the main concerns, beating retirement savings for the first time in a decade.
Retirement savings had been the number one source of economic – induced insomnia since 2007. Tuitions and student loans are also keeping 34% of Americans up. 26% are worried about mortgage and paying rent, and there’s no sleeping for 22% thinking of credit card debt.
Healthcare and education categories are in worse shape now than during the great recession. 82% are fighting the symptoms by cutting expenses, selling something, getting a new credit card or another job.
