Golfers Receive A Surprise Visit From Cubbs The Gator
A lot of people do different things in order to relax, but golf is always a common choice. A couple of rounds of golf on a nice sunny afternoon, what could possibly go wrong?
Well surprisingly, a lot if you live in Miami. What would you do if you happened to cross paths with a massive 16-foot long alligator? This is the question a few people had to answer when they were playing at the Buffalo Creek Golf Course.
Locals were not that shocked and were actually more excited, this was the first time that Chubbs had been caught on camera in two years.
The alligator used to be a frequent visitor to the course in Florida but it wasn’t until 2016 when visitors got to see him last. As soon as they players could see it was Chubbs, they started filming and cheering, with the video going viral very quickly.
In the video, you can see the gator slowly strolling across the greet, emerging from the bushes like Godzilla from the sea, before then lying down on the course, only 15 meters away from the audience.
The video was caught by a frequent resident of the course, Sage Stryczny, speaking of the events, he said: “He was a beast. Me and my dad were about to hit off the tee on a par 3 and we saw him laying right on the green.”
Sage and his father were adamant they wanted to finish the game, as he continued: “We were trying to golf, so we were within 50 feet of him after we hit our shots.”
You definitely can’t question their commitment to the sport.
