Last night was the first 2016 Iowa Caucus and former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee right off the bat decided to suspended their presidential campaigns following dismal results. O’Malley, who had trouble gaining any traction in the Democratic race, won just 0.6 percent of the vote.

Hillary and Bernie on the other hand were neck and neck the entire night with Hillary finishing at 49.9% and Bernie finishing at 49.6% making them about tied. On the Republican side Cruz took the lead with 27% of the vote followed by Trump with 24.3% of the vote and Rubio in third with 23.1% of the vote.

The candidates will now move on to New Hampshire but what is the most surprising is the amount of Republicans that remain in the race (11) compared to the Democrats (2), however these numbers are expected to change in the next few weeks. For complete coverage be sure to check out the video above.
