The Reality Behind Reality TV

Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the most wanted man in a house full of women on the newest season of “The Bachelor.” Of course, it would seem to be every man’s dream to have his choice of a woman and have the chance to fall in love…all on live TV. Well, maybe that last part isn’t everyone’s dream. Though he already took the reality TV plunge, the newest bachelor admits it has its ups and downs. Namely, it’s not that easy to transition back to real life.

During a recent interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the ex-race car driver turned realtor opened up about what open houses have been like after the stardom from the show. Instead of having any real interest in purchasing anything, people just kind of want to hang out with him during his open houses. Which is all fine and well, but it’s not all fine and well for business. This bachelor talks about multiple instances where he realized women were just coming by to hang out with him, or once a client found out he was from the ABC show, the conversation never went back to buying or selling a home.

After finding out matters of the heart may not be good for his business matters, the interview with Kimmel got a little more playful. The host predicted Becca K. would ultimately be the one to win Luyendyk Jr.’s heart. Of course, we will all have to wait and see!
